Israel's Future Salvation
What is God’s future plan of salvation for the nation of Israel, specifically those who are descendants of Abraham? Does God intend for them to continue to be hardened in their sin? Or, will He bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Jesus’ Legal Right to Messiah’s Throne
Who do you say Jesus Christ is? What do you believe about His person and work? The four gospels show us the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth—the God-Man who lived in Israel during the first century. Pastor Tom begins a new series exploring the Gospel of Matthew, which uniquely presents Jesus as the coming Messiah and King of the world. Unlike the other gospels, Matthew opens with Jesus' genealogy which provides several crucial truths about Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from the gospel of Matthew Jesus' Legal Right to Messiah's Throne.
Israel's Current Spiritual Condition
Will God ever abandon or forsake His people? This question often arises as it relates to God’s chosen people in the Old Testament, specifically the nation of Israel. In Romans eleven, the apostle Paul addresses this directly, with remarkable clarity. Pastor Tom guides us through Paul’s teaching, explaining that although a majority of Jewish people have rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah, God’s faithfulness endures. There’s a divine promise that points to a future moment of repentance where they turn to Him. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans eleven Israel’s True Spiritual Condition.

Contentment: The Lost Virtue
Would you describe yourself as a content person, no matter the circumstances? Today, the issue of contentment seems to be a lost virtue not only in the unbelieving world but, sadly, even in the professing Christian church. In Philippians chapter 4, the apostle deals with the issue of contentment to strengthen his own heart—but also to minister to those who were members of the church of Philippi. And Paul’s words to that first-century church are just as powerful and meaningful to us as Christians today. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from Philippians 4 why all Christians need to understand Contentment: The Lost Virtue.

Jesus: Liar, Lunatic or Lord?
Were Jesus' claims to be the Son of God valid? In reality, there are only two basic responses to that question: His claims were either true or false. If His claims were false, then either He knew they were false or He didn't know they were false. On the other hand, if His claims were true, then He is everything that He claimed to be. So, was Jesus an evil man who was a demonically inspired liar? Was He a deluded man? Or is He truly the Son of God? Join Tom Pennington as he answers the question Jesus: Liar, Lunatic, or Lord?

Watch Where You Step!
The Bible teaches that a fool is a person who refuses to have and apply God's wisdom. Therefore, the fool displays a morally deficient character that produces spiritually irrational behavior. For Christians, this type of thinking and behavior ought not be. If you want to walk worthy of your position in Christ, then you must walk in Biblical wisdom. How can Christians be on guard against falling prey to the wisdom of the world? Join Tom Pennington as he explains why Christians must Watch Where You Step!

Two Gates, One Decision
How do you know if you are a true citizen of the spiritual kingdom over which our Lord Jesus Christ reigns? The answer to that question comes with eternal ramifications. Thankfully, Jesus deals with this issue towards the end of the Sermon on the Mount. It is there that Jesus provides the crowds with clear insight into who it is that has truly entered into His kingdom and who has not. But how do you know if you are in or out of His kingdom? In this series Tom Pennington answers that question by explaining the scenario that Jesus presents the crowds: Two Gates, One Decision.

The One Anothers
Relationships are a part of the residual image of God in every person. From eternity past there has always been a relationship between each person of the Trinity. So, in one sense we can say that to fail to properly relate to one another is to sin against the very character of God. Living in isolation from others is to sin against our Creator. In particular, sin against how He made us as His image bearers. In this series Tom Pennington demonstrates why Christians must be actively engaged in The "One Anothers."

War and Peace: Learning to Deal with Conflict
It's amazing to see how the history of the world is a history of war. This has always been true of humanity, starting with the very first murder in Genesis 4 and continuing through human history to Revelation 21. Conflict, in every part of life, is a reality in the world in which we live. Conflict even manages to find a place in the church, and sound biblical churches are not exempt from it. But have you ever wondered "Why?" Or more importantly, have you truly tried to discern how we ought to deal with conflict individually and corporately within the church? Join Tom Pennington as he walks through a passage from the epistle of James, to help us engage in War and Peace: Learning to Deal with Personal Conflict.

The Keynote of Romans
Romans 1:16–17 establishes the theme and thesis of the book of Romans. The rest of the letter is essentially an exposition of this passage. In fact, it's not an exaggeration to say that these two verses are the essence of true, authentic Christianity—they are the heart of the biblical gospel. Simply put, what Paul explains is that the gospel is the power of God and it produces salvation in the hearts of everyone who believes. Join Tom Pennington as he identifies and explains The Keynote of Romans.
