Israel's Future Salvation
What is God’s future plan of salvation for the nation of Israel, specifically those who are descendants of Abraham? Does God intend for them to continue to be hardened in their sin? Or, will He bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Jesus’ Legal Right to Messiah’s Throne
Who do you say Jesus Christ is? What do you believe about His person and work? The four gospels show us the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth—the God-Man who lived in Israel during the first century. Pastor Tom begins a new series exploring the Gospel of Matthew, which uniquely presents Jesus as the coming Messiah and King of the world. Unlike the other gospels, Matthew opens with Jesus' genealogy which provides several crucial truths about Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from the gospel of Matthew Jesus' Legal Right to Messiah's Throne.
Israel's Current Spiritual Condition
Will God ever abandon or forsake His people? This question often arises as it relates to God’s chosen people in the Old Testament, specifically the nation of Israel. In Romans eleven, the apostle Paul addresses this directly, with remarkable clarity. Pastor Tom guides us through Paul’s teaching, explaining that although a majority of Jewish people have rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah, God’s faithfulness endures. There’s a divine promise that points to a future moment of repentance where they turn to Him. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans eleven Israel’s True Spiritual Condition.

Contentment: The Lost Virtue
Would you describe yourself as a content person, no matter the circumstances? Today, the issue of contentment seems to be a lost virtue not only in the unbelieving world but, sadly, even in the professing Christian church. In Philippians chapter 4, the apostle deals with the issue of contentment to strengthen his own heart—but also to minister to those who were members of the church of Philippi. And Paul’s words to that first-century church are just as powerful and meaningful to us as Christians today. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from Philippians 4 why all Christians need to understand Contentment: The Lost Virtue.

Not Even One!
Romans chapter three paints a devastating portrait of fallen mankind. In great detail the apostle Paul describes man as radically depraved, to the point that man desires his own sin rather than God. Because man's sin violates God's holy law, man lacks personal righteousness before Him. Nowhere is this idea better described than in Romans 3:9–20. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from the book of Romans how there are no good people on this earth, Not Even One!

The Birth Announcement of God's Son
The Gospel of Luke records a quiet, simplistic account of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Instead of experiencing a royal birth (because He was a King), He was born in a cave used for sheltering and feeding animals. Rather than an entourage of witnesses representing the great and the influential people of the nation, only Joseph and Mary, His poor and obscure parents, were there to witness the actual event. However, it was not God's plan for Jesus' birth to remain in such obscurity. From Luke 2:8–20, Tom Pennington explains The Birth Announcement of God's Son.

Whose Slave Are You?
Are you a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness? The book of Romans identifies these two categories as marks of one's true spiritual condition. Those who love their sin and walk in it are slaves to such behavior. On the other hand, those who love righteousness are slaves to righteousness. Therefore, Christians must never take sin lightly, because they are no longer slaves of sin but slaves of God and of righteousness. Join Tom Pennington as he explains Romans 6:15–23 to help answer a critical question: Whose Slave Are You?

The Disciple's Greatest Danger
What is your greatest fear? Many people would say public speaking, snakes, or some type of confined space. Moreover, we live in a society that is permeated with fear, even to the degree that some people in our culture use fear as a tactic and motivater to sell products, ideas, and worldviews. But for the Christian, fearing earthly matters runs contrary to the teaching of Scripture. So, the question is: what should be your greatest fear? According to Mark 9, sin should be your greatest fear. In this series Tom Pennington explains Jesus' teaching on The Disciple's Greatest Danger.

An Aerial View of the Old Testament
We often neglect those things that are the most clearly and visibly in sight, in spite of their great value. Sadly, when it comes to the Old Testament, Christians often neglect this massive portion of Scripture. If we are to be faithful to 2 Timothy 3:16, then the Old Testament is just as God-breathed as the New. In other words, the Old Testament is equally important in the mind of God as the New—it is all profitable for the man of God. In this series Tom Pennington gives An Aerial View of the Old Testament in order to help Christians better understand its message and application.

Prayer For All Seasons
The average adult breathes 12 to 15 times per minute or roughly 20,000 times a day. Humans normally breathe about 500 to 700 milliliters of air with each breath, which amounts to 535 cubic feet a day. In fact, most people only breathe through one nostril at a time—the nostril in use changes every 15 minutes to three hours depending on the individual. To be sure, breathing is absolutely critical for physical life. Furthermore, the act of breathing is a powerful illustration of a spiritual reality. What breathing is to our physical bodies, praying is to our souls. Join Tom Pennington as he explains why Christians must be committed to Prayer for All Seasons.
