Israel's Future Salvation
What is God’s future plan of salvation for the nation of Israel, specifically those who are descendants of Abraham? Does God intend for them to continue to be hardened in their sin? Or, will He bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Jesus’ Legal Right to Messiah’s Throne
Who do you say Jesus Christ is? What do you believe about His person and work? The four gospels show us the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth—the God-Man who lived in Israel during the first century. Pastor Tom begins a new series exploring the Gospel of Matthew, which uniquely presents Jesus as the coming Messiah and King of the world. Unlike the other gospels, Matthew opens with Jesus' genealogy which provides several crucial truths about Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from the gospel of Matthew Jesus' Legal Right to Messiah's Throne.
Israel's Current Spiritual Condition
Will God ever abandon or forsake His people? This question often arises as it relates to God’s chosen people in the Old Testament, specifically the nation of Israel. In Romans eleven, the apostle Paul addresses this directly, with remarkable clarity. Pastor Tom guides us through Paul’s teaching, explaining that although a majority of Jewish people have rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah, God’s faithfulness endures. There’s a divine promise that points to a future moment of repentance where they turn to Him. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans eleven Israel’s True Spiritual Condition.

Contentment: The Lost Virtue
Would you describe yourself as a content person, no matter the circumstances? Today, the issue of contentment seems to be a lost virtue not only in the unbelieving world but, sadly, even in the professing Christian church. In Philippians chapter 4, the apostle deals with the issue of contentment to strengthen his own heart—but also to minister to those who were members of the church of Philippi. And Paul’s words to that first-century church are just as powerful and meaningful to us as Christians today. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from Philippians 4 why all Christians need to understand Contentment: The Lost Virtue.

When Life's Not Fair
There are certainly times in this life when injustices happen to believers and non-believers alike. To one degree or another all people have experienced such a thing. The Bible is clear that this is a result of living in a fallen world that has been totally wrecked by sin. As Christians, when we experience situations in this life that don't seem to be fair, we must respond differently than the world. The book of James teaches that we must react to unfair situations in a godly manner. Join Tom Pennington as he explains how believers should respond When Life's Not Fair.

The Heart of Worship
The Scripture makes it clear that God cares infinitely how we worship Him. Taking it one step further, the Scripture also says that God alone has the right to prescribe how we must worship Him. That is essentially the point of the Second Commandment—people will either worship the true God in the way that He has perfectly prescribed, or they will do what is right in their own eyes and ultimately commit idolatry. How, then, can Christians be on guard against committing idolatry? Join Tom Pennington as he gets to The Heart of Worship by explaining how God desires to be worshiped.

The Church According to Jesus
The church is the only organization and institution that our Lord Jesus Christ promised to build. The Scripture is clear that it is Christ alone who builds His church. In fact, the church is Christ's greatest priority in the world today and He is deeply concerned with how His people are conducting themselves in it. But what is Christ's plan for the for the church and how should believers respond? Join Tom Pennington in Ephesians 4 as he defines The Church According to Jesus.

Caught in the Act
In Romans 7 Paul makes a clear-cut case that God's law actually arouses people to sin. In other words, God's law stirs up the sinful heart to pursue sin even more. In typical fashion, Paul anticipates the following objections to come his way: Does this mean that God's law is unholy and unrighteous? Is God's law the problem or is man's sin the problem? Join Tom Pennington as he explains Paul's line of thought regarding God's holy law and rebellious sinners Caught in the Act.

Your Only Reasonable Response to the Gospel
Great leaders have always been concerned with what motivates people to action, and they try to seize on those motivations as levers to cause people to begin to act. But what motivates Christians to act? What motivates Christians to live a life of total commitment to God? In the twelfth chapter of the book of Romans, Paul exhorts Christians to examine their motives while seeking to apply the gospel in everyday living. Join Tom Pennington as he walks through Romans 12:1–2, to present Your Only Reasonable Response to the Gospel.

Sovereign (S)election
There is much controversy and confusion surrounding the doctrine of election. In fact, one could argue that this theme rises above the rest as far as theological debates and discussions are concerned. Unfortunately, unbiblical teachings, preconceived notions, and misinformation on the issue have stirred the pot even more. Like the Bereans in Acts 17, Christians must examine the Scriptures to test whether or not the doctrine of election is a biblical concept. Join Tom Pennington as he carefully explains Sovereign (S)election from Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
