Israel's Future Salvation
What is God’s future plan of salvation for the nation of Israel, specifically those who are descendants of Abraham? Does God intend for them to continue to be hardened in their sin? Or, will He bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Jesus’ Legal Right to Messiah’s Throne
Who do you say Jesus Christ is? What do you believe about His person and work? The four gospels show us the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth—the God-Man who lived in Israel during the first century. Pastor Tom begins a new series exploring the Gospel of Matthew, which uniquely presents Jesus as the coming Messiah and King of the world. Unlike the other gospels, Matthew opens with Jesus' genealogy which provides several crucial truths about Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from the gospel of Matthew Jesus' Legal Right to Messiah's Throne.
Israel's Current Spiritual Condition
Will God ever abandon or forsake His people? This question often arises as it relates to God’s chosen people in the Old Testament, specifically the nation of Israel. In Romans eleven, the apostle Paul addresses this directly, with remarkable clarity. Pastor Tom guides us through Paul’s teaching, explaining that although a majority of Jewish people have rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah, God’s faithfulness endures. There’s a divine promise that points to a future moment of repentance where they turn to Him. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans eleven Israel’s True Spiritual Condition.

Contentment: The Lost Virtue
Would you describe yourself as a content person, no matter the circumstances? Today, the issue of contentment seems to be a lost virtue not only in the unbelieving world but, sadly, even in the professing Christian church. In Philippians chapter 4, the apostle deals with the issue of contentment to strengthen his own heart—but also to minister to those who were members of the church of Philippi. And Paul’s words to that first-century church are just as powerful and meaningful to us as Christians today. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from Philippians 4 why all Christians need to understand Contentment: The Lost Virtue.

Do You Only Love Those Who Love You?
In Jesus’ greatest sermon, the Sermon on the Mount, He teaches that we, as Christians, must love both our friends and our enemies. Said another way, we have a duty to love those who love us and to love those who hate us. But such a clear-cut truth was heavily distorted by the Pharisees during Jesus’ day. So Jesus sets out to correct their faulty teaching in order to show His true disciples the way in which they should respond to all people. Join Tom Pennington as he will help you answer from Scripture a crucial question: Do You Love Only Love Those Who Love you?.

The Seventh Seal and the First Six Trumpets
At an appointed time during the seven-year tribulation period described in the book of Revelation, the eye of the hurricane of God's wrath will pass over the throne room of heaven and there will be a 30-minute calm in the storm. As the events of Revelation 8–9 continue to unfold, the Lamb, Jesus Christ, breaks the seventh seal, initiating the seven trumpet judgments followed by seven bowl judgments. These judgments highlight the pervasiveness of Satan, demons, and the unbelieving world. Join Tom Pennington as he explains the events recorded in Revelation 8–9: The Seventh Seal & the First Six Trumpets.

Lord Willing
There is a certain philosophy and idea in our world today that teaches self-determinism—the idea that I’m in control of my life and I can do anything I want if I believe in it long enough. But such thinking is completely contrary to what the Bible teaches about life. The book of James teaches that as followers of Jesus Christ, we must constantly acknowledge and joyfully accept God's sovereignty over our lives in all circumstances. Join Tom Pennington as he explains James 4 and the Christian phrase: Lord Willing.

Recognizing False Teachers
In John 4, John the Apostle demands that we, as Christians, diligently apply several biblical tests to every spiritual idea, every message, or every sermon that we hear in order to distinguish genuine teachers who teach God's truth from false teachers who, in fact, teach damning error. Such a message was appropriate for 1st century Christians—but, at the same time, this same message is vital for Christians to understand today. Join Tom Pennington as he demonstrates from Scripture how Christians must be committed to Recognizing False Teachers.

Give Thanks and Sing!
The book of Psalms has been described as a book that reveals a personal pattern of worship, that is, how God’s people can come to Him in worship. The theme of Psalm 92 is that it is good for the people of God to give thanks and to sing praises to God. In fact, this psalm reveals several important lessons about thanksgiving and why we, as Christians, must be committed to a life of thankfulness to our God. Join Tom Pennington as he considers Psalm 92 and the fact that all Christians must Give Thanks and Sing!

Tribulation Saints
In Revelation 6–19, the apostle John describes a future seven-year tribulation period in which God’s wrath and judgment are poured out on the unbelieving world. But during this time, God shows unparalleled grace in continuing to call sinners to repentance and redemption through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington as he gives an in-depth explanation of the Tribulation Saints God uses to evangelize the lost during the Tribulation years.
