Israel's Future Salvation
What is God’s future plan of salvation for the nation of Israel, specifically those who are descendants of Abraham? Does God intend for them to continue to be hardened in their sin? Or, will He bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Jesus’ Legal Right to Messiah’s Throne
Who do you say Jesus Christ is? What do you believe about His person and work? The four gospels show us the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth—the God-Man who lived in Israel during the first century. Pastor Tom begins a new series exploring the Gospel of Matthew, which uniquely presents Jesus as the coming Messiah and King of the world. Unlike the other gospels, Matthew opens with Jesus' genealogy which provides several crucial truths about Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from the gospel of Matthew Jesus' Legal Right to Messiah's Throne.
Israel's Current Spiritual Condition
Will God ever abandon or forsake His people? This question often arises as it relates to God’s chosen people in the Old Testament, specifically the nation of Israel. In Romans eleven, the apostle Paul addresses this directly, with remarkable clarity. Pastor Tom guides us through Paul’s teaching, explaining that although a majority of Jewish people have rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah, God’s faithfulness endures. There’s a divine promise that points to a future moment of repentance where they turn to Him. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans eleven Israel’s True Spiritual Condition.

Contentment: The Lost Virtue
Would you describe yourself as a content person, no matter the circumstances? Today, the issue of contentment seems to be a lost virtue not only in the unbelieving world but, sadly, even in the professing Christian church. In Philippians chapter 4, the apostle deals with the issue of contentment to strengthen his own heart—but also to minister to those who were members of the church of Philippi. And Paul’s words to that first-century church are just as powerful and meaningful to us as Christians today. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from Philippians 4 why all Christians need to understand Contentment: The Lost Virtue.

The Dark Guest
Romans chapter 7 is one of the most controversial passages in the New Testament, and it has been hotly debated since the early centuries of the church. But, at its heart, Romans 7 is the apostle Paul’s testimony regarding his own battle with sin during his Christian life. For Christians, Paul’s words are just as pertinent today as they were in the first century. Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Paul encourages believers to fight our sin as we continue to pursue Christlikeness in this life. Join Tom Pennington as he describes the battle that every Christian fights against The Dark Guest.

The Beatitudes
Throughout church history professing Christians have approached the interpretation of the Sermon on the Mount in several different ways. But how you interpret the Sermon on the Mount will radically determine not only how you understand Jesus’ preaching, but also how you live the Christian life. Therefore, it is crucial that we as Christians understand how to rightly interpret and understand Jesus’ most famous words—beginning with the beatitudes. Join Tom Pennington as he gives an explanation of each of The Beatitudes.

The Holy Spirit's Influence: Three Primary Effects
What does it mean for a Christian to be under the influence of the Holy Spirit? In Ephesians chapter 5 the apostle Paul describes three primary effects of the Spirit's work in a believer's life: A love for God-centered music, a pattern of thankfulness, and a heart of submission. Do those three elements characterize your life? Join Tom Pennington as he explains how believers can know they are under The Holy Spirit's Influence.

The Lord's Table
The New Testament prescribes two ordinances that the church must consistently practice as an act of worship to God: believer's baptism and communion. These ordinances, or rites or ceremonies, have significant meaning for the Christian in light of the person and work of Jesus Christ. Sadly, many Christians don't fully grasp the richness of what the Bible teaches about the Lord's Table. In fact, the first century church of Corinth needed apostolic intervention because of their abuse of this ordinance. As the apostle Paul corrects their sinfulness, he reveals timeless truths that are applicable to the church today. Join Tom Pennington as he gives an in-depth explanation of Paul's teaching on The Lord's Table.

The Ram, the Goat & the Little Horn
The book of Daniel teaches that God is sovereign over the lives of individuals, the affairs of nations, the spans of empires, and all human history. And in Daniel chapter 8, we find that God has all power over good and wicked rulers, authorities, and empires. But, in the midst of it all, God calls His people to live faithfully according to His Word. If our God is good and sovereign, and He is, we can wholly trust Him as we live for Him in a lost world. Join Tom Pennington as he explains the vision of The Ram, the Goat, & the Little Horn.

Divine Revelation
The Bible teaches that God has revealed Himself in a general, or universal, way to all mankind through what theologians call general revelation. But God has also revealed Himself through the written Word—the Scripture, and the Incarnate Word—Jesus Christ, which theologians call special revelation. When King David wrote Psalm 19 he explained both of those categories to help God’s people worship the one true God. Join Tom Pennington as he walks through Psalm 19 in order to explain God's Divine Revelation.
