Israel's Future Salvation
What is God’s future plan of salvation for the nation of Israel, specifically those who are descendants of Abraham? Does God intend for them to continue to be hardened in their sin? Or, will He bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Jesus’ Legal Right to Messiah’s Throne
Who do you say Jesus Christ is? What do you believe about His person and work? The four gospels show us the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth—the God-Man who lived in Israel during the first century. Pastor Tom begins a new series exploring the Gospel of Matthew, which uniquely presents Jesus as the coming Messiah and King of the world. Unlike the other gospels, Matthew opens with Jesus' genealogy which provides several crucial truths about Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from the gospel of Matthew Jesus' Legal Right to Messiah's Throne.
Israel's Current Spiritual Condition
Will God ever abandon or forsake His people? This question often arises as it relates to God’s chosen people in the Old Testament, specifically the nation of Israel. In Romans eleven, the apostle Paul addresses this directly, with remarkable clarity. Pastor Tom guides us through Paul’s teaching, explaining that although a majority of Jewish people have rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah, God’s faithfulness endures. There’s a divine promise that points to a future moment of repentance where they turn to Him. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans eleven Israel’s True Spiritual Condition.

Contentment: The Lost Virtue
Would you describe yourself as a content person, no matter the circumstances? Today, the issue of contentment seems to be a lost virtue not only in the unbelieving world but, sadly, even in the professing Christian church. In Philippians chapter 4, the apostle deals with the issue of contentment to strengthen his own heart—but also to minister to those who were members of the church of Philippi. And Paul’s words to that first-century church are just as powerful and meaningful to us as Christians today. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from Philippians 4 why all Christians need to understand Contentment: The Lost Virtue.

Navigating Christian Liberty
In every age, Christians have to make decisions about issues and topics that the Bible either doesn't mention at all or that, if it does, are not entirely definitive. For example, the style of worship music; drinking alcoholic beverages; school and education; parenting philosophies; and entertainment choices. In these types of situations, how are Christians supposed to conduct themselves, even if there is disagreement with other church members and other Christians? Thankfully, the Bible lays out a series of biblical principles to help Christians navigate these liberties. Join Tom Pennington from the book of Romans as he equips believers in Navigating Christian Liberty.

Bible Study for Every Christian
There are several reasons why many professing Christians spend little time reading and studying the Bible. But more often than not, one of the main reasons is because people don’t know how. In other words, they don’t have a practical process in place to read, study, and meditate on God’s Word. But for us as Christians, just as food is critical for the health of the body, spiritual food is all the more critical for your spiritual health. In this series, Pastor Tom works through a clear and simple process to understand Scripture and further to know God the Father and His blessed Son, Jesus Christ: Bible Study for Every Christian.

The Person of Christ
The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the center of God’s redemptive plan. The Old Testament proclaimed that the Messiah would come into this world to save His people from their sins. The New Testament gospels teach that the Messiah has come, our Lord Jesus Christ, and describe his life. And the rest of the New Testament teaches why he came and what that means for every believer. And finally, the book of Revelation teaches that He will come back for His people and establish a kingdom. If the Bible is centered on Jesus, then it is critical that we come to know Him from the Scripture. Join Tom Pennington as he surveys the Bible to inform our minds and hearts about The Person of Christ.

What Child Is This?
From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible speaks clearly about the person of our Lord Jesus Christ and the work He accomplished in His life, death, and resurrection. But 700 years before He came into the world, the prophet Isaiah foretold that Jesus would accomplish redemption and bring about true restoration. In particular, Jesus Christ would bring salvation to the Jews and Gentiles, and He would bring universal blessings to the entire world. But how does Isaiah describe this person, and what does it mean for us as Christians today? Join Tom Pennington as he walks through one of the great prophecies of the Old Testament, answering the key question: What Child Is This?

Jesus on Divorce
In Mark 10, our Lord Jesus Christ unfolds the divine mind about the controversial topic of divorce and remarriage. Unfortunately, today divorce has become commonplace among unbelievers and, sadly, even professing Christians have joined the world in their acceptance and practice of divorce. But as Christians, in every issue—including divorce—we must first ask, “What does the Bible say?” What the Bible teaches about divorce must be our view also, and we must teach and respond accordingly. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Mark 10 the teaching of Jesus on Divorce.

Old Testament Survey
Unfortunately, today, many professing Christians rarely read or study the Old Testament. Some, perhaps, even neglect it, assuming it does not play a vital role in the Christian life. But because all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, Christians must immerse themselves in the Old Testament. It is the beginning of God's great plan to redeem a people by His Son, for His Son, to His own glory. Join Tom Pennington on this walk through an Old Testament Survey.
