Israel's Future Salvation
What is God’s future plan of salvation for the nation of Israel, specifically those who are descendants of Abraham? Does God intend for them to continue to be hardened in their sin? Or, will He bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Jesus’ Legal Right to Messiah’s Throne
Who do you say Jesus Christ is? What do you believe about His person and work? The four gospels show us the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth—the God-Man who lived in Israel during the first century. Pastor Tom begins a new series exploring the Gospel of Matthew, which uniquely presents Jesus as the coming Messiah and King of the world. Unlike the other gospels, Matthew opens with Jesus' genealogy which provides several crucial truths about Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from the gospel of Matthew Jesus' Legal Right to Messiah's Throne.
Israel's Current Spiritual Condition
Will God ever abandon or forsake His people? This question often arises as it relates to God’s chosen people in the Old Testament, specifically the nation of Israel. In Romans eleven, the apostle Paul addresses this directly, with remarkable clarity. Pastor Tom guides us through Paul’s teaching, explaining that although a majority of Jewish people have rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah, God’s faithfulness endures. There’s a divine promise that points to a future moment of repentance where they turn to Him. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans eleven Israel’s True Spiritual Condition.

Contentment: The Lost Virtue
Would you describe yourself as a content person, no matter the circumstances? Today, the issue of contentment seems to be a lost virtue not only in the unbelieving world but, sadly, even in the professing Christian church. In Philippians chapter 4, the apostle deals with the issue of contentment to strengthen his own heart—but also to minister to those who were members of the church of Philippi. And Paul’s words to that first-century church are just as powerful and meaningful to us as Christians today. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from Philippians 4 why all Christians need to understand Contentment: The Lost Virtue.

The Rich, Young Ruler
What must a person do to inherit eternal life? Sadly, many believe that salvation can be achieved by human effort and good works, and that in the end it comes down to a matter of your good works outweighing the bad. This unbiblical understanding of salvation isn’t a modern concept. The rich, young ruler that Jesus encountered in Mark 10 believed salvation could be obtained apart from a miraculous work of God. Christ emphasizes to the rich, young ruler that salvation is not humanly impossible. It can only be accomplished by a divine miracle of God’s grace. Join Tom Pennington as he explains a biblical view of salvation from Jesus' conversation with The Rich, Young Ruler.

Recovering a Lost Legacy
The Library of Alexandria is the most famous library from antiquity, containing an estimated 500,000 books. It was accidentally destroyed in the first century BC and thousands of years of knowledge and practice were lost. Tragically, the same is true of the Christian church. The church at large has abandoned the Scriptures, therefore losing its knowledge of God and how Christ’s church should conduct herself. This series seeks to recover the rich Christian legacy that the Bible alone is to govern all beliefs and practices of the Christian church. Join Tom Pennington as he calls Christians to earnestly aim for Recovering a Lost Legacy.

Seventy Years & Seventy Weeks
Daniel 9 records Daniel's prayer on behalf of God's people and God's answer to that prayer. It's one of the longest prayers in Scripture and it provides a wonderful pattern for Christians to follow today. Daniel understood that God would accomplish His sovereign purpose by answering the prayers of His people. In addition, through a vision, God gives Daniel a prophetic timeline of Israel's history from the time of Daniel to the end of the age. Join Tom Pennington as he gives an in-depth explanation of Daniel's prayer and one of the greatest prophecies of the Old Testament: Seventy Years & Seventy Weeks.

Ecclesiastes: A Biblical Philosophy of Life
The book of Ecclesiastes is designed to help God's people understand the truth about life "under the sun"—in a fallen world. God graciously gave Solomon wisdom, discernment and breadth of mind, like the sand that is on the seashore. Solomon's wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the sons of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt. In Ecclesiastes Solomon reveals that life is a gift from God to be enjoyed, but it also has serious limitations. Those twin realities are meant to compel us to seek God in faith, fear, obedience, and love. Join Tom Pennington as he explains the theme of the book of Ecclesiastes: A Biblical Philosophy of Life.

Ruth: A Story of Redemption
The book of Ruth has been called a perfect story. One writer has said that it is one of the most delightful compositions in all of the ancient world. It is remarkable that the book of Ruth is 3000 years old yet it still meets the standard for a good story today. In God's providence, He has used the book of Ruth to illustrate sin and judgment, and deliverance and redemption. Equally as important, Ruth also points to the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom true redemption is found. Join Tom Pennington as he walks through this amazing story, Ruth: A Story of Redemption.

Learning to Use God's Armor
Christians must understand that there is a silent, invisible war being waged all around us—even inside our individual minds. It is a war that, if not fought correctly, has serious consequences for every believer. Tragically, most Christians are completely oblivious to the reality of this war. In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul writes to inform and equip believers how to win this war. When Paul's instruction is implemented, the result is Christlikeness and the praise and glory of God's name. If you are going to live a life of faith and obedience to Christ, you must take heed to Paul's words. Join Tom Pennington as he encourages every Christian to be Learning to Use God's Armor.
