Learning to Use God's Armor
Christians must understand that there is a silent, invisible war being waged all around us—even inside our individual minds. It is a war that, if not fought correctly, has serious consequences for every believer. Tragically, most Christians are completely oblivious to the reality of this war. In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul writes to inform and equip believers how to win this war. When Paul's instruction is implemented, the result is Christlikeness and the praise and glory of God's name. If you are going to live a life of faith and obedience to Christ, you must take heed to Paul's words. Join Tom Pennington as he encourages every Christian to be Learning to Use God's Armor.

A Day in the Life of Jesus
The New Testament often presents Jesus as a compelling teacher who taught with all authority. The gospel writers emphasize this by documenting Jesus' teaching in various synagogues across the ancient world. As He taught the Old Testament, Jesus' pattern was to read the text, explain the text, and apply the text. His daily life was characterized by such commitment to the word of God. Join Tom Pennington as he teaches on Jesus' authority by giving an overview of what it was like during A Day in the Life of Jesus.

Destined for Glory!
Christians often ask: if we're children of God, why do we still suffer? In this series from Pastor Tom, he explains from Scripture how we live in a decaying universe marked by cosmic catastrophes, natural disasters, and personal trials. And then he highlights from Romans 8 that the sufferings of this present time cannot be compared with the glory that awaits us. While God never promises exemption from life's troubles—even His own Son, Jesus Christ faced hardship and death—He has destined believers for something far greater. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans 8 that Christians are Destined for Glory!.
Jesus’ Legal Right to Messiah’s Throne
Who do you say Jesus Christ is? What do you believe about His person and work? The four gospels show us the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth—the God-Man who lived in Israel during the first century. Pastor Tom begins a new series exploring the Gospel of Matthew, which uniquely presents Jesus as the coming Messiah and King of the world. Unlike the other gospels, Matthew opens with Jesus' genealogy which provides several crucial truths about Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from the gospel of Matthew Jesus' Legal Right to Messiah's Throne.

The First Six Seals: The Tribulation Begins
In the early 1900s the Spanish flu took the lives of an estimated 50 to 100 million people. During WWII, men like Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin were responsible for the taking of millions of lives. Such tragic events are a small picture of what God, in His wrath, will inflict on this planet during the future seven-year tribulation period. In the book of Revelation the apostle John records the details of this future period in order to give us, as Christians, a glimpse into the events of the future before our Lord Jesus Christ returns. Join Tom Pennington as he explains The First Six Seals: The Tribulation Begins.

The Christian's DNA
DNA is an organic chemical with a complex molecular structure that's found in cells and in many viruses. Every person inherits DNA from their parents, and it is unique to every individual. You’ve often heard it said: "Like father, like son" or "like mother, like daughter." The same is also true spiritually. We Christian brothers and sisters in Christ, all of whom share our Father's DNA, are called to be like Him in the way we live. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from 1 John the spiritual ancestry of every believer: The Christian's DNA.

Recovering a Lost Legacy
The Library of Alexandria is the most famous library from antiquity, containing an estimated 500,000 books. It was accidentally destroyed in the first century BC and thousands of years of knowledge and practice were lost. Tragically, the same is true of the Christian church. The church at large has abandoned the Scriptures, therefore losing its knowledge of God and how Christ’s church should conduct herself. This series seeks to recover the rich Christian legacy that the Bible alone is to govern all beliefs and practices of the Christian church. Join Tom Pennington as he calls Christians to earnestly aim for Recovering a Lost Legacy.

Radical Truthfulness
Unfortunately, through modern technology the catastrophic sin of lying has manifested itself on a national and global stage for all the world to see. Lying is also pervasive in smaller settings like the workplace, and even at home. In fact, lying has been a problem since Genesis 4 when Cain lied to God. The truth is there isn’t a single person that can escape the temptation to lie. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus demands that we as Christians pursue radical truthfulness. And according to Jesus, if you’re one of His followers, you are characterized by truthful speech. Join Tom Pennington as he urges all Christians from Scripture to be characterized by Radical Truthfulness.

Human Responsibility
The book of Romans is a high point in the New Testament. It records the theology of the gospel of God – the fact that Jesus Christ came into the world to save, justify and sanctify sinners. In Romans chapters 9 and 10 the apostle Paul defends God’s sovereignty in salvation and that sinners are responsible to repent and believe in Christ. These twin truths are absolutely essential to understanding the gospel. Paul, and ultimately God, wants us as Christians to grasp why some people believe in the gospel, and others don’t. Join Tom Pennington as he explains a critical aspect of the gospel: Human Responsibility.

The Rich, Young Ruler
What must a person do to inherit eternal life? Sadly, many believe that salvation can be achieved by human effort and good works, and that in the end it comes down to a matter of your good works outweighing the bad. This unbiblical understanding of salvation isn’t a modern concept. The rich, young ruler that Jesus encountered in Mark 10 believed salvation could be obtained apart from a miraculous work of God. Christ emphasizes to the rich, young ruler that salvation is not humanly impossible. It can only be accomplished by a divine miracle of God’s grace. Join Tom Pennington as he explains a biblical view of salvation from Jesus' conversation with The Rich, Young Ruler.
