Israel's Future Salvation
What is God’s future plan of salvation for the nation of Israel, specifically those who are descendants of Abraham? Does God intend for them to continue to be hardened in their sin? Or, will He bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Jesus’ Legal Right to Messiah’s Throne
Who do you say Jesus Christ is? What do you believe about His person and work? The four gospels show us the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth—the God-Man who lived in Israel during the first century. Pastor Tom begins a new series exploring the Gospel of Matthew, which uniquely presents Jesus as the coming Messiah and King of the world. Unlike the other gospels, Matthew opens with Jesus' genealogy which provides several crucial truths about Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from the gospel of Matthew Jesus' Legal Right to Messiah's Throne.
Israel's Current Spiritual Condition
Will God ever abandon or forsake His people? This question often arises as it relates to God’s chosen people in the Old Testament, specifically the nation of Israel. In Romans eleven, the apostle Paul addresses this directly, with remarkable clarity. Pastor Tom guides us through Paul’s teaching, explaining that although a majority of Jewish people have rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah, God’s faithfulness endures. There’s a divine promise that points to a future moment of repentance where they turn to Him. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans eleven Israel’s True Spiritual Condition.

Contentment: The Lost Virtue
Would you describe yourself as a content person, no matter the circumstances? Today, the issue of contentment seems to be a lost virtue not only in the unbelieving world but, sadly, even in the professing Christian church. In Philippians chapter 4, the apostle deals with the issue of contentment to strengthen his own heart—but also to minister to those who were members of the church of Philippi. And Paul’s words to that first-century church are just as powerful and meaningful to us as Christians today. Join Tom Pennington has he explains from Philippians 4 why all Christians need to understand Contentment: The Lost Virtue.

Just By Faith Alone
Justification in biblical terms is the legal declaration in the courtroom of God by which He credits the believer’s sin to Christ and credits Christ’s perfect righteousness to the believer. The wondrous outcome of this divine transaction is that God forgives the sinner because their debt has been paid for by the life and death of Christ and declares them forever righteous before Him as Judge. Join Tom Pennington as he unpacks the doctrine of justification from Philippians 3—demonstrating that Christians are Just By Faith Alone.

A Friend of Sinners
The New Testament teaches that Jesus Christ came into the world on a divine rescue mission—to save sinners from their sins. That message is powerfully pictured in Mark chapters 2 as Jesus interacts with several “sinners and tax collectors.” At the heart of Jesus’ ministry was a desire to preach the good news of the gospel—that He came not to save the righteous, those who believed they were inherently good and didn’t need be saved, but those who recognized their poor and miserable spiritual condition. Join Tom Pennington from Mark 2 as he explains how Jesus is A Friend of Sinners.

Five Hallmarks of a Biblical Church
Many churches today operate by worldly standards and principles, rather than what the Bible specifically teaches. But the Scripture is clear that Jesus Christ requires that His church operate by His criteria. To abandon the Scripture is to disregard our Lord's clear commands on how to conduct His church. In the series, Tom Pennington will work through the New Testament Scripture to identify Five Hallmarks of a Biblical Church.

The Parable of the Two Builders
At the end of His most famous sermon, the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus confronts those who profess to be His followers and provides them with an illustration to determine their true spiritual condition: Is their professing Christian life built on a faulty foundation that will be swept away, or is their spiritual life built on a solid foundation that will stand the test of time? From Matthew chapter 7, Tom Pennington helps us as Christians understand The Parable of the Two Builders.

The Millennium: Christ's Future Reign on Earth
The one passage out of the entire Bible that most divides faithful, Bible-believing Christians is Revelation 20, particularly the verses that refer to the Millennial Kingdom. All Christians agree that the future new heaven and earth await all true Christians. But how are we supposed to understand the 1,000-year period that is described beforehand? In this series, Pastor Tom Pennington provides a biblical explanation of The Millennium: Christ's Future Reign on Earth.

Sin Is Not Your Master
According to the apostle Paul in Romans 6, every Christian—without exception—has a new relationship to sin. And this new relationship is one that is characterized by a radical change summarized this way: We, as Christians, are no longer slaves to sin—but slaves of Christ. Because we have repented and believed in Christ, sin is no longer our master, but the Lord Jesus Christ. Join Tom Pennington as he explains from Romans 6 that Sin Is Not Your master.
