Whose Slave Are You?

Are you a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness? The book of Romans identifies these two categories as marks of one's true spiritual condition. Those who love their sin and walk in it are slaves to such behavior. On the other hand, those who love righteousness are slaves to righteousness. Therefore, Christians must never take sin lightly, because they are no longer slaves of sin but slaves of God and of righteousness. The consequence of your sin is eternal punishment, but the free gift of God in Jesus Christ is eternal life. If you repent of your sins and believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ you will be saved from eternal punishment.
