First John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sin, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” As Christians, although we are forgiven for all of our sins—past, present, and future—we are still called to confess them to our God. Part 1

In this powerful psalm, King David teaches us that we are to confess our sin and to earnestly seek God’s forgiveness. As believers, we are to appeal to God’s character—that He is willing to forgive iniquity, transgression, and sin.
